About Us

Founded by Ke Zhang (Santi), a mechanical engineer and former national champion freestyle footballer, our story began with two seemingly unrelated worlds: the precision of engineering, and the relentless drive of competitive sports. Santi’s defining moment came at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, when he became the first civilian fan in history to present the Man of the Match award to Cristiano Ronaldo. That day, he took home more than just a memory—he took home the spirit that would define Detailing King: pursue excellence, dare to challenge. We believe ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things, and that no compromise is worth it when it comes to quality.

When the pandemic forced Santi’s car detailing shop to close, it wasn’t the end—it was a reset. For years, he’d been frustrated by the gap between what car care products promised and what they delivered. So in September 2021, he and his wife Yu turned a tiny 15-square-meter apartment in Shenzhen into a lab, and began building something different. Our first manufacturing partner failed to meet our strict quality standards, so we made the only choice that aligned with our values: take full control. We built our own production, developed formulas in-house, and launched our cross-border store.

From a cramped rental room to a professional lab, from platform seller to independent global brand—Detailing King has never strayed from our roots: making premium, high-performance auto care accessible to enthusiasts everywhere.
